Galatasaray vs. Eskişehir

This match was played last week and it was at Ali Sami Yen so I went to watch it there. But also this time we lost the game. The squad contained a lot of substitudes and a lot of unexpected players. Most of the first team players weren't playing and some of them were injured. For example Servet Çetin, Mehmet Topal, Uğur Uçar, Emre Güngör. Also our coach Bülent korkmaz didn't select Lincoln to play because he misbehaved. I tthought it was ridiculous because, when he did that we couldn't play as offensive as we did before so the match was really boring. Also because we lost the game we really have a little chance to become the league champion. Anyway generally things are not going well for Galatasaray, they're eliminated from the UEFA and the Turkish cup and they're 5 points behind the leader, the 5th.

Galatasaray vs. Hamburger

This match took place at thursday. As I said at my last post I went to the stadium to watch the game there, but it didn't end happily. At the first half we were leading 1-0, then when the second half begun we scored another goal and thought that the match will end like this, there is no way we can be defeated now. But after five or six minutes the unexpected happened, they scored two goals in two minutes and tied the match. The fans still had faith Galatasaray was trying very hard to score, they dominated the match but around 80th minute the thing that crashed every supporter happened, they scored another goal and now the score was 2-3, them leading. All the fans started leaving the match because to win we had to score 2 more goals and that was impossible to do at 10 minutes with that pressure and sadness on the players. So the match ended and I was very upset with the result and the team.

Galatasaray vs. Hamburger

Tommorow Galatasaray will play against Hamburger to qualify for the quarter final. The first match ended 1-1 and if Galatasaray wins or if the match ends 0-0 Galatasaray qualifies to the next round. I'm really excited about this match and I will go to Ali Sami Yen to watch it there. Some of my are also going to the match and we'll watch it together there, so it will be a lot of fun. I hope Galatasaray will win and qualift untill the final.

Skibbe

Since my last post a lot of things changed in Galatasaray club. They fired Skibbe after the 0-0 Bordeaux UEFA cup match. If you ask me it was the right thing to do and also we can see that from the votes people gave, that Galatasaray should fire Skibbe. Now the coach is a retired famous football player who played for Galatasaray;Bülent Korkmaz. Bülent Korkmaz won his last four matches and it was a tie at the last one.

Galatasaray vs. Metalist Kharkiv

Two weeks ago galatasaray played with Metalist in the UEFA competition. I went to the game and actually it wasn't a good game. Galatasaray relly played really bad and it didn't forfill the fans. I left the match at the 80th minute because I had to go to a training. Then I learned that Metalist scored at the 84th minute.

Galatasaray vs. Ankara

Ankara 0-0 Galatasaray

Three weeks ago galatasaray played with Ankaraspor. Frankly it was a boring game and I was going to stop watching the game. But because I'm a big fan of galatasaray I forced myself to watch the whole game. Galatasaray didn't play well and Ankara wasn't good also. After this game , the Galatasaray board tol Skibbe that he had to perform better.

Galatasaray vs. İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediye Spor

This match took place at sunday, and it was at Ali Sami Yen. Galatasaray had to win this match because if they didn't the difference at the points would be 9 and that is a hard number to keep up and become the champions. At this game Galatasaray played really well and they win the game by 2-0. The scorers were Kewell and Lincoln. Lincoln scored a really classy goal. After this match the, point difference of the first teams and Galatasaray's was 6. So Galatasaray became the fifth after this match.
